What do I need to bring to a yoga class?

We have a select number of yoga mats, blocks, blankets, straps, and bolsters available for you to use, but please feel free to bring your own to class. Other things to bring include:

  • Water Bottle

  • Comfy clothes - please come dressed for class if possible. There are washrooms for you to use to change if you need.

Which entrance should I use?

- Our entrance is on the east side of the building. As you come in the door, turn left for the elevator or right for the stairs. We are in suite #202 which is through the fire door on the 2nd floor and at the end of the hall.

How does City & Soul work? I’m a little confused.

We are a coworking space for wellness practitioners. This means that City & Soul rents space to other business owners so they have a place to see their clients. While we do take care of some payments and appointment booking, these business owners are greatly responsible for their own operations within City & Soul.

Are there change rooms?

No, but there are 2 accessible washrooms in the hallway in addition to our main washroom inside.

Where do I park?

We have a parking lot on the north side of the building that we share with the main floor business, Med Mobility. There is accessible parking available in this lot. You are welcome to park in the lot or there is free street parking as well.

Can I take pictures?

Yes! As long as your photography is not disruptive (ex. during class or of others who are in session with one of our holistic practitioners). Please make sure to get permission from anyone captured in your pictures before taking any photos. Please tag us @cityandsoulco on instagram and as City and Soul Wellness Collective on Facebook in any photos you share on social media!

Are there showers?

No.

Is the building wheelchair accessible?

For the most part, yes. Our building has an elevator, wheelchair accessible washrooms, as well as wide hallways and doors. However, please note that we do not have automatic doors. If you need assistance opening doors, please let your practitioner know ahead of time and they will be happy to assist you.

Do you take walk- ins?

No, we are by appointment only. Please book your appointment either through our website or through your specific practitioner.

I have questions about my appointment, who do I contact?

Please contact your specific practitioner. If you received a confirmation email from us, your practitioner’s email address is listed there.

How does City & Soul work?

We are a coworking space for wellness practitioners. Many practitioners operate out of our space which creates a collaborative community environment. We have an office, an energy healing room, a bodywork room, and a studio that can all be used for various modalities and practices. We have multiple rental options depending on how many hours a week or month you need to see your clients. More information on what we offer and our pricing can be found on our rent with us page.

What if I have my own booking and payment system in place?

That is perfectly fine! You can keep using your own systems.

I’m just starting out with my business, is City & Soul the right fit for me?

Renting at City & Soul is a commitment. Those who flourish in our collective are dedicated to the growth of their business.

City & Soul does not create client leads for its Members. Given these considerations, please evaluate whether you currently have an established client base, or if you are able to take on this financial responsibility while you work to build your clientele.

What happens if I don’t use all my hours for the week/month, do they roll over into the next month?

No, hours do not roll over. This is to keep availability even between our members so that everyone has a consistent fair chance to use the space.

Can I store my equipment and/or other items?

Yes. There are lockers available to rent as an additional add-on to your membership

Small Locker: $15/mo
Large Locker: $25/mo

Do I need my own payment processor or booking system?

No, you don’t. We use Acuity Scheduling for booking and payments which you are welcome to use for your own business too. We provide you with booking links that you can put on your website, hand out to clients, etc. We pay you out at the end of each month for any payments we have taken on your behalf through Acuity.
